(Franklin County, MA) With the weather forecast changing every few hours, many in Western Massachusetts are still wondering what to expect with Tropical Storm Henri. Henri was downgraded to a tropical storm early Sunday morning, and according to the National Weather Service wind gusts are currently at a maximum of 65mph. However, rain bands have started to hit Western Massachusetts and Henri has taken a bit of a Northwestward turn and is traveling at 14mph. Franklin County is still expected to see four to six inches of rain but southern portions of Western Massachusetts could see up to ten inches of rain at this point. Henri is currently 60 miles off the shore of Providence Rhod Island. Flood watches are in effect until 8pm Monday.
