(Franklin County, MA) Southern portions of Hamden and Hampshire Counties are under flash flood warnings until 6pm Eastern Time, due to excessive amounts of rain hitting those areas. As much as one to two inches an hour is expected in those regions. Franklin County lies much in the moderate risk area for flash flooding, but with already saturated soils storm experts warn not to discount that risk right now. A right turn towards New Hampshire and Vermont will cause the storm to slow down and stall for a time, but by 8am Monday Henri should be heading towards the Atlantic and a faster speed. Right now, Henri is traveling at 9mph and the center of the storm is located in Rhode Island and Connecticut. The trajectory continues Westwards towards New York. According to the NOAA National Hurricane Center, winds are tracked at about 50mph and are no longer a primary concern.
