(Combined Sources) Community events and fundraisers have looked very different this year, having to adapt to the rules of a pandemic. And that will be the case for the annual Ray Brown Memorial “9K for K9” event to benefit the Franklin County Regional Dog Shelter. Normally, the run is held on a single day. But this year, participants are being asked to join the event virtually by signing up at RunReg dot com and doing their run or walk anytime between November 14th and November 22nd. Participants can run or walk a 9K, 5K or any distance they are comfortable with. Participants are also encouraged to return to the RunReg page afterwards and post their results. All monies raised go to help operate the Franklin County Regional Dog Shelter. Visit the “9K for K9” website here.
