GREENFIELD, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) — The Franklin Regional Transit Authority, FRTA, and the Pioneer Valley Transit Authority, PVTA, are set to receive grant funding recently announced by the state to acquire 29 new vehicles, some of which will be used to expand access in rural areas. “Connecting Rural Communities” services will increase accessibility in Greenfield, Leverett, Sunderland, and Amherst.
