ASHFIELD, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) — State Representative Natalie Blais was in Ashfield Friday for a town hall conversation with community members about recent legislation including “An act protecting consumers from unreasonable utility rate increases” and “An act to encourage solar canopies on parking lots.”
Blais also spoke on a climate bill expected to come to the Committee on Telecommunications, Utilities and Energy within the next few weeks, as the Senate has already passed a version of the bill. Blais comment that hearing from constituents has made an impact on the progress of these bills.
