GILL, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) — A small brush fire was reported near a garage on Hoe Shop Road in Gill shortly before 9:00 Friday morning. It was apparently an illegal burn. The small fire was quickly extinguished before it could spread to any structures or adjacent land. Authorities at the state and local level remind residents that there is a current ban on outside burning.
