ROWE, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) — The town of Rowe’s Board of Health is proposing new regulations for septic systems and tobacco sales. The septic regulations are environmental and health focused, with stipulations for DEP approved effluent filters and “speed levelers.”
The tobacco regulations aim to protect youth from tobacco marketing by increasing signage affirming tobacco sales are prohibited to anyone under the age of 21 and verifying age with government identification; along with regulations for tobacco sales permits.
There will be a public hearing for both of the sets of regulations on Wednesday June 5th at 6:40 and 6:50 p.m. in the Rowe Town Hall Meeting Room and via Zoom.
