(Combined Sources) The Massachusetts Department of Transportation has released the design of the Schell Bridge, which will span the Connecticut River in Northfield. The bridge, which will replace an existing structure which has been closed since 1985, will allow pedestrians and bicycles. The bridge is expected to be completed by 2025 at a cost of $22 million. The design was released online last Thursday.
