School Mask Mandates Extended To February 28

(Massachusetts) Massachusetts students will be required to wear masks a bit longer. On Monday, Elementary and Secondary Education Commissioner Jeffrey Riley extended the education mask mandate until February 28. Riley cited safety concerns as COVID-19 infections continue to surge nationally and in Massachusetts. Schools with 80% vaccination rate in students and staff can lift the mask mandate upon approval of the Department of Early and Secondary Education.
