(Gill & Erving, MA) – Multiple first-responder crews from throughout Franklin County responded to the French King Bridge on the Gill and Erving town line today for a report of a suicide attempt there.
Local police, fire and water rescue units as well as Mass. State Police responded following the initial dispatch call at approximately 12:35pm on Wednesday afternoon. Traffic was open in both directions on the bridge as well as adjacent sections of Route 2.
