(Orange, MA) As of 5:10 pm Tuesday evening, West River Street from South Main Street to Pleasant Street in Orange is closed. The Town of Orange closed the road due to safety and structural concerns about the Old Cereal Factory Building. Until further notice, it will be closed for both pedestrians and vehicles. The Town of Orange asks everyone to stay away from the area.
*UPDATE* Orange Police Chief James Sullivan has said they are working hard to get resources needed to make the area safe for pedestrians and vehicles. In the meantime, they are creating a plan for traffic and detours for the area.
