(undated) — Menthol cigarettes and flavored tobacco products may be making a comeback in Massachusetts. The Senate’s Committee on Public Health heard testimony Wednesday on a bill which would undo the commonwealth’s first in the nation ban on flavored tobacco products. Supporters of the ban say it was a necessary step to discourage youth tobacco use, while others argue that the ban has hurt business owners and has disproportionately impacted low-income consumers who are unable to access what is a legal product in other states.
