BOSTON, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) — Last week Senator Jo Comerford presented a statement at the joint hearing by the Agriculture Committee and Cannabis Policy Committee on hemp regulations in the state. Senator Comerford stated that it is “abundantly clear” that further regulation, enforcement, and legislative action is needed to combat the dangerous illegal, intoxicating hemp products that are prevalent in gas stations and convenience stores, leaving youth particularly vulnerable.
