FRANKLIN COUNTY, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) — Wednesday evening brought another round of severe thunderstorms to the area, bringing down more trees and lines as crews continued clean up work from Tuesday’s storm.
Traffic was stopped on I-91 in Deerfield Tuesday evening when trees fell on the highway in both the north and southbound lanes and the Whately Fire Department responded to a smoke investigation on River road caused by a potential lightning strike.
