(Turners Falls, MA) — The Franklin County Community has officially said goodbye to one of its own. A candlelight vigil was held Wednesday night at the Farren Care Center to remember 45-year-old Rhonda Thompson, who was killed while walking with a friend on Route 2 in Shelburne at around 6:30 a.m. on June 8. Thompson was director of nursing at the Farren. She was remembered as a person who could always be counted on to help and support others.
