SHELBURNE, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) — The December 31st deadline for registering short-term rentals in Shelburne is approaching. As of July 1st, 2025 short-term rentals must be registered with the town and complete all necessary inspections.
Also as of July 1st, any new rentals must be owner-occupied. Rentals that existed before July 1st, 2025 do not have to be owner-occupied, but must follow all state and local code.
