SHUTESBURY, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) — On Tuesday, September 30th, the town of Shutesbury will hold a Special Town Meeting to vote on thirteen articles.
Residents will vote on changing the Annual Town Meeting structure so that in the future it will be held in two parts, one meeting in May and another in October.
The Police Department is sponsoring an article to change the town wide speed limit to 25 miles per hour, down from the current 30.
And the town will vote on a Data Center moratorium to allow the town to research the use. The moratorium would take effect on September 20th, if voted in, and last through June 30th of 2026.
