(Greenfield, MA) After an investigation began in September by the Northwestern District Anti-Crime Task Force, six people have been arrested in relation to a drug trafficking ring between Springfield and the North Quabbin. One of the individuals, 24 year old Josiah Cheeseboro from Springfield, was arraigned in Franklin Superior Court Thursday and pleaded not guilty to trafficking cocaine and fentanyl and two counts of conspiracy to violate the Controlled Substance Act. Cheeseboro is being held on $100,000 cash bail. The other five individuals are expected to be arraigned in the coming weeks.
