(Northfield, MA) — A six vehicle accident on Route 10 in Northfield has sent one person to the hospital. It happened late Friday afternoon on the Route 10 bridge. Northfield Police say three cars were going in each direction. All eight people involved in the crash were injured but only one required hospitalization. The victim was transported to Baystate Franklin Medical Center. Four vehicles were towed from the crash. Multiple departments assisted Northfield Police in clearing the scene. The cause is under investigation
