(Combined Sources) Late last week, Smith College in Northampton furloughed just over 200 employees for this fall. The school will be all-remote for the fall semester and the furlough is a direct result of that decision. Smith College expects to have a revenue loss close to $8 million this semester. Their plan is to bring students back on campus in February of 2021.
