BOSTON, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) — Massachusetts legislators are considering a ban on social media for children under the age of fourteen. Also included in the proposed bill is a statewide restriction on student personal devices during the school day. The bill will have one more reading before it becomes law.
Once law, DESE would set guidelines for school around student devices.
