(Leverett, MA) On Thursday, Leverett Fire Chief John Ingram surveyed the Joshua Hill Fire with the assistance of the Massachusetts State Police Air Wing. Ingram observed hot spots still burning on the hill, and issued a warning to hikers to avoid the area. Teams of Leverett Fire Fighters are surveying the area in the morning and in the evening to monitor the perimeter and any hot spots that are still burning.
