SOUTH HADLEY, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) — A tax increase vote is coming back to South Hadley on the September 1st ballot, months after the residents rejected a larger tax increase vote in April. This vote is on a 10% tax increase, meaning approximately a five to six hundred dollar increase for the average taxpayer. Without the increase, the town’s public schools may be facing risks to staffing, atheltic and art programs.
