(Boston, MA) Two non-profits supporting economic opportunities in Orange and Greenfield have been awarded a total of $230,000 through the state’s Community Empowerment and Reinvestment Grant Program. LaunchSpace Inc. in Orange has received $75,000 for their Creative Sector Pathway Program, which support youths ages 13 to 24 who have been disproportionately impacted by the criminal justice system to prepare for careers in the creative fields. And the Franklin County Community Development Corporation has received $155,000 to support their program to reduce barriers to employment and entrepreneurship for incarcerated people.
