(Deerfield, MA) A suspect with outstanding warrants fled police Wednesday night after a failed traffic stop. The suspect, who was driving a 2021 Toyota RAV4 SUV, fled police on foot after police cruisers pursued the vehicle for a motor vehicle violation. A representative from the Massachusetts State Police said the suspect appeared to be holding an object that he tucked inside his waistband as he fled. Police searched the area for several hours along with drones launched by Greenfield Police and Massachusetts State Police and the Massachusetts State Police K-9 units. The female suspect who remained in the vehicle was released on scene while the male suspect has not been located.
