BOSTON, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) — The state has received $162 million from the Centers of Medicaid and Medicare Services to improve rural health in Massachusetts this year. This is the first year in a five year program that will fund collaborations between the state and local services to develop initiatives and activities responsive to rural healthcare needs.
