Update: Fire On South Prospect Street In Millers Falls

(Millers Falls, MA) *UPDATE* The Turners Fall Fire Department was called to the fire on South Prospect Street in Millers Falls just before midnight on Thursday, April 7th. All of the residents of the building had safely evacuated.

They were joined by the Greenfield, Erving, Montague, Bernardston, South Deerfield, Northfield, Brattleboro Fire Departments and the Orange Fire Rescue EMS after a Second Alarm was requested. Together, they put out the fire and it is still under investigation.

The Turners Falls Fire Department is on scene as of approximately 2:50 a.m. this morning for a structure fire on South Prospect Street in Millers Falls that is currently under control. The Massachusetts Department of Fire Services has also responded to the scene to aid in the investigation. More details to come as available.
