SummerFest Fundraiser At Greenfield Fairgrounds Saturday

(Greenfield, MA) The Franklin County Fairgrounds have hosted many events this summer and this weekend will see another festival. Saturday, July 23rd SummerFest will be held at the fairgrounds on Wisdom Way in Greenfield. This is a fundraising event to support the fairgrounds. There will be food and craft vendors in addition to the performances from Jimmy Just Quit from western Massachusetts, folk singer Adelaide Faye, Austin James, and Zane Provost.

Last year the event was held under the name “Freedom Fest” and $3,000 was raised from the 1,000 attendees. Organizers are hoping to raise $5,000 this year.
