(Sunderland, MA) — A veteran member of Sunderland’s School Committee will be going back to that board for three more years. Incumbent Peter Gagarin was the top vote-getter in a four-way race for two seats on the Sunderland School Committee. Political newcomer Megan Arquin came in second. All other positions were uncontested including a three-year selectboard seat, which went to candidate Christyl Drake-Tremblay. Only 198 of the town’s 2,459 registered voters cast ballots in Saturday’s election.
