(Sunderland, MA) — The town of Sunderland has chosen its slate of candidates for the upcoming election, with one notable exception. This weekend’s caucus failed to yield a candidate for an open seat on the Sunderland Selectboard. Long-time incumbent Scott Bergeron is not seeking re-election this year. Anyone who wishes to pursue the position has the option of taking out nomination papers or running a write-in campaign. Election Day in Sunderland is May first.
