DEERFIELD, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) — The South Deerfield Fire Department and Massachusetts Department of Fire Services Hazardous Materials team were called to investigate a leaking tanker truck at the weigh station on I-91 in Deerfield Tuesday morning.
Massachusetts State Police conducted an inspection on the vehicle and initially discovered the leak, which was later found to be coming from an internal valve in the tank. Crews assisted in safely transferring the liquid to a new tanker truck.
