The union that represents teachers in the Amherst-Pelham Regional School District opposes any plan that involves in-class instruction until this February. Currently the school committee and administration are planning on at-home learning for most students except those in kindergarten and grade 1. The district’s school year begins on September 16th but the school committee is expected to announce further plans at their meeting on Tuesday, August 25th.
