(Greenfield, MA) Update: The Keene, New Hampshire Police Department responded to reports of merchandise theft from Home Depot. According to reports, the alleged suspects entered the store wearing face coverings and began filling bags with items, while visibly carrying firearms. After the suspects fled the store, Keene police located the suspects’ vehicle on Route 9 but lost sight of them at the New Hampshire/Vermont border.
The Massachusetts State Police located the vehicle, and after the suspects fled on foot near Greenfield Community College, all three were taken into custody with assistance from Greenfield, Deerfield, and Erving Police Departments, the Franklin County Sheriff’s office, and the Greenfield Fire/Emergency Management Drone Unit. While the case is under investigation, the Keene Police Department said they are working with the Mass State Police to bring criminal charges against the suspects in New Hampshire.

Three suspects are in custody after leading the Massachusetts State Police on a pursuit Wednesday morning. At approximately 9:34 a.m. the state police were in pursuit of a vehicle on Colrain Road in Greenfield that was allegedly involved in an armed robbery in Keene, New Hampshire.
The suspects exited the vehicle leading the pursuit on foot in the vicinity of Greenfield Community College. Area schools including Four Rivers Charter Public School which was out for the summer, but holding an ultimate frisbee intensive, were placed on shelter-in-place lockdown.
At approximately 10:19 a.m. a drone was deployed and the Erving K9 unit was requested. By 10:39 a.m. the three suspects were in custody.
In addition to the Massachusetts State Police, local departments including Greenfield, Deerfield, and Erving Police Departments, the Franklin County Sheriff’s office, and the Greenfield Fire/Emergency Management Drone Unit assisted.
