DEERFIELD, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) — The Tilton Library expansion project in Deerfield is nearing completion.
Library officials expect to move into the new building in early to mid-November and open the ground floor for public access in mid-December, as the elevator installation has been delayed causing a subsequent delay for operating beyond the first floor.
During this first phase of opening there will be a temporary adult and teen area in the community room and the children’s room will be fully operational.
The opening of the entire building is expected in March 2026.
