WHATELY, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) — Route 5 & 10 is closed in Whately Monday morning following a car accident. A vehicle collided with a utility pole in the area of Tom’s Long Hot Dogs and L&L Fence Co. Whately Police and Fire departments are on scene. Drivers are asked to seek an alternate route.
The driver suffered an unknown medical condition while driving and both the driver and passenger were transported to the hospital with suspected minor injuries. No charges or citations were issued.
