SHELBURNE, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) — Officials have identified the woman who was hit by a train Monday morning and died as 45 year-old Jennifer Jarvis of Greenfield.
Emergency crews were called to the railroad tracks in the area of Bardwell’s Ferry Bridge Monday around 5 a.m. and found Jarvis, who died at the scene approximately 30 minutes after emergency crews arrived. The cause of death has not been released, although no foul play is suspected.
