Transformers Blew Last Night Leaving Many Without Power In Bernardston Area

(Bernardston, MA) On Monday evening around 8 p.m. power outages and sparking wires were reported in areas around Route 5 in Bernardston. Bernardston Fire Department investigated the issue and found blown transformers to be the cause of the outages. By 9 p.m. Eversource had responded and isolated the problem. All residents had power restored last night.
