ORANGE, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) — In what officials are calling a “very close call,” no injuries were reported after a tree uprooted and fell on a passing vehicle Wednesday afternoon in Orange.

At approximately 4:32 p.m. emergency responders were dispatched to West River Street where they found a second tree about to fall over and compromised utility poles.

The street was closed into the night while the trees and poles were taken care of.
