FRAMINGHAM, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) — A driver allegedly using their cell phone struck a State Police cruiser stopped in the roadway Saturday afternoon, leaving the Trooper with serious injuries.
The Trooper was stopped to address a ladder in the road at the time of being struck.
Massachusetts State Police Superintendent Colonel Geoffrey Noble said the incident could have been tragic had the Trooper not been wearing his seatbelt and the State Police will be conducting a full investigation into the matter.
