Turners Falls To Get New Fifth Street Pedestrian Bridge

(Montague, MA) — A new pedestrian bridge is coming to Turners Falls. Montague Special Town Meeting members this weekend approved $200,000 dollars in funding to help construct the new Fifth Street bridge, which is expected to restore pedestrian and bike access over the Turners Falls canal heading toward Greenfield. The project is being funded in part by a $2 million-plus state MassWorks grant.
