(Montague, MA) — A Turners Falls woman was among a number of people arrested during an environmental protest at the home of Governor Charlie Baker. Eight activists, including 38-year-old Nora Maynard of Turners Falls, were arrested Tuesday after they refused to unchain themselves from a boat which was parked outside Baker’s residence in Swampscott. The demonstrators were part of a group calling itself “Extinction Rebellion Boston.” They were arraigned and released on their own recognizance from Lynn District Court.
