(Franklin County, MA) Two suspects were arrested Tuesday in Hatfield on multiple charges after an attempted vehicle stop in Bernardston turned pursuit. At around 3:51 pm on Tuesday a Massachusetts State Police Trooper attempted to stop a white Honda Accord on I-91 North in Bernardston. The driver did not stop and police pursued.

The driver made a U-turn across the grass median to avoid a Stinger tire deflation device and the occupants threw what seemed to be drugs out of the car window, which the Troopers later secured.

The chase ended once the vehicle reached heavy traffic on I-91 South. A witness reported two males had abandoned the vehicle on I-91 South in Hatfield and run toward West Street. At approximately 4:30 pm the MSP Troopers arrested Rashon K. Braswell, 19, of Hatford, and Khyjuan M. Holloway, 22, of Manchester, Connecticut.
