(Greenfield, MA) Two men were arrested Friday morning on multiple drug and firearm charges when the Northwestern District Anti-Crime Task Force with the Greenfield Police and the Mass State Police STOP team executed a search warrant at 83 Hope Street for illegal narcotics sales. 44 year old Bucky Maynard of Turners Falls and 31 year old Taylor Cotter of Greenfield were arrested on trafficking in fentanyl and cocaine, possession of firearm and ammunition without a license, among other charges.
From the Greenfield Police Department:
“After a lengthy investigation the Northwestern District Anti-Crime Task Force (NDATF), with assistance of the Greenfield Police Department and the Massachusetts State Police STOP team executed a search warrant to search 83 Hope Street in Greenfield for illegal narcotics sales.
Recovered during the search was approximately (91) grams of suspected cocaine, with packaging, (1,149) bags/units of suspected heroin/fentanyl, $1,649 US currency and two (2) unlawfully possessed handguns.
Bucky Maynard, 44 years old with a last known address from Turners Falls, was placed under arrest and transported to the Greenfield Police Department, where he was booked for the following:
a) Trafficking in Fentanyl (>10 grams).
b) Trafficking in Cocaine (36-100 grams).
c) Conspiracy to Violate the Controlled Substance Act.
d) Firearm without LTC/FID.
e) Ammunition without LTC/FID.
f) Firearm Violation with Three (3) or More Serious Drug Offenses/Violent Crimes.
g) Firearm in Commission of a Felony.
h) Improper Storage of a Firearm.
Taylor Cotter, 31 year old with a last known address of Greenfield, was placed under arrest and transported to the Greenfield Police Department, where he was booked for the following:
a) Trafficking in Fentanyl (>10 grams).
b) Trafficking in Cocaine (36-100 grams).
c) Conspiracy to Violate the Controlled Substance Act.
d) Firearm without LTC/FID.
e) Ammunition without LTC/FID.
f) Firearm Violation with Two (2) or More Serious Drug Offenses/Violent Crimes.
g) Firearm in Commission of a Felony.
h) Improper Storage of a Firearm.
