GREENFIELD, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) — The Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection has announced a two-year pause on the electric vehicle sales requirements for manufacturers under the Advanced Clean Cars II program.

Electric vehicles sold during the two year pause will count towards the future sales requirements.

The Healey-Driscoll Administration is expected to announce additional grant funding for the purchase or lease of publicly owned electric vehicles. Additional grant programs are expected to be announced for charging stations.
