(Amherst, MA) Police have located the suspect in a hit and run incident at Umass Amherst earlier this week. The vehicle involved in the crash was located at around 7pm Wednesday in Northampton. Although the identity of the suspect has not been released, the Northwestern District Attorney’s Office did say he is not a Umass student. He will be arraigned on Thursday morning. The crash remains under investigation by the UMass Police Department, Massachusetts State Police Detectives attached to the Northwestern District Attorney’s Office, State Police Crime Scene Services Section and the State Police Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Section.
