(Amherst, MA) — University of Massachusetts officials say they are leaving no digital stone unturned as they try to figure out who sent a series of racist emails to a number of campus minority groups last month. UMass has hired a firm which specializes in digital forensics to locate the people or groups responsible for sending the emails the week of September 25th. The university’s chancellor has promised swift action if it is determined that the perpetrators have any connection to the UMass system.
