(Amherst, MA) — The University of Massachusetts has received the single largest gift in the school’s history. UMass has announced that the $50 million dollar gift from Robert J. and Donna Manning will be spread out over the five campuses in the UMass system, with $15 million earmarked for establishment of a new nursing school on the UMass-Boston campus.
