(Amherst, MA) The University of Massachusetts announced a new scholarship program, incentivizing the transition from a community college to one of the four UMass campuses for completing their bachelor’s degree. UMass is guaranteeing the top 10% of students in their graduating class at community colleges, automatic admission to a UMass campus and a minimum of $5,000 annual scholarship on top of additional aid, federal and private grants. The program is slated to being in the fall of 2024.
