UMass To Require COVID Boosters For Students And Staff On All Five Campuses

(Amherst, MA) – All UMass students, faculty and staff will be required to get COVID 19 booster shots before returning to campus next year. All were required to receive the Pfizer, Moderna or Johnson & Johnson vaccines this fall, and UMass President Marty Meehan recently informed the employees of his office that they are required to get a booster shot as soon as reasonably possible, which is usually recommended to be done six months after the original innoculation.
