UPDATE: Greenfield Road in Deerfield re-opened after accident

Greenfield Road in Deerfield was closed for a time Tuesday morning as a result of what Deerfield Police termed a "serious" motor vehicle accident.

SOUTH DEERFIELD, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) — Deerfield Police tell Franklin County Now that a portion of Greenfield Road has re-opened after it was closed for a time on Tuesday morning, the result of a motor vehicle accident.

Greenfield Road was closed between North Main Street, Mill Village Road, and Conway Road (Route 116) by the South Deerfield Fire Department. In a social media post, Deerfield PD termed the accident “serious” in nature.

Franklin County Now will provide further updates as information becomes available.
